India and Israel not only share values such as being free and democratic societies but our two countries also share challenges like the threat of terror and the need for development. I am sure that our close existing cooperation in wide range of fields - from security to food security, from culture to agriculture - would only continue to grow and flourish in the coming years.  I am delighted that I will personally have the opportunity to contribute to further enhancement of these solid and strong bilateral relations and I am looking forward to our joint work with the Indian people and the Indian Government.”
